The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

The System and Arch are optional added filters, for example System could be "redhat", "redhat-7.2", "mandrake" or "gnome", Arch could be "i386" or "src", etc. depending on your system.

If the shared files of a distribution are contained in a tarball (see the Dist::Zilla::Plugin::ShareDir::Tarball manpage for why you would want to do that), automatically extract the archive in a temporary directory and return the path to that directory. If called for a regular distribution without a bundle file ('shared-files.tar.gz'), it'll return the original shared dir. In other words, from the consumer point of view, it'll behave just like the File::ShareDir manpage.
