This package provides the "yanglint" and "yangre" tools which can be used during the creation of IETF YANG schemas. The tools are not generally useful for normal operation where libyang primarily processes configuration data, not schemas.

for compatibility - all plugins are now supposed to use

compatible with libyang 1.0.

specific way, but also to change its original string value (e.g.
to make the value canonical). Change to the canonical value is
also used in the provided user types plugins implementing
